This morning we had visitors from outside.
Mother and daughter…
Being in my situation is not always pleasant. I got to hear what others don’t. Not telling something top secret here. It’s my blog anyway. But yeah, still there are few exceptions about freedom of speech and freedom to express opinion. Bloggers should know about it all~
Ok, back to the situation in the office this morning.
Cutting the whole story short, the mother came to discuss (in this case; beg) for her daughter to be hired in any position. Anywhere...
You see, in the world nowadays, it’s all about Who-You-Know and Who-Knows-You. If and only if you know people, you can expect so much convenient from the other party. Of course I am not one of these people. Though I do have families in here, I don’t get in by using means of crony. Yep, C.R.O.N.Y. I hate the word. Hate it so much.
Back to the mother-daughter thingy, no matter I hate the fact that the whole crony thing is involved here; it does not compared to the annoying feeling of hearing the Mother begging on behalf of her daughter. BEGGING I tell you~ I will not ever made my mother do that for me. I’d rather work my way up on my own. Not by having your mother begging for the mercy of other people to get you some job!
Oh, come on people...You are an educated person. A graduate from some fancy university, for the love of ALLAH~
